Post 3-How To

 How to clean your bearings

Okay first things first. At first you need to get a skateboard and you need to get the wheels dirty.
The bearings are the little red round things. Without bearings the wheels would be very slow, that's why you need to clean them.

the things you need are:
.a rag
.a socket wrench

.non-rust cleaning oil
.newspaper
.an old tooth brush or a scrub brush

The first step is fairly easy. Get out your socket wrench and set up an area of newspaper. Then take out your skateboard and find a socket wrench head that fits your skateboard bolts, that are on your trucks. Basically all you have to do next is put the socket wrench on the bolts and turn, once that's done, take the wheel off of the truck. Once off of the truck take the wheel and place it back on the truck. While on the truck, turn the wheel sideways and pull up with force. Do this motion until the bearing is almost out then pull the rest of it out. Repeat taking the bearing out on the back of the wheel (there are two bearings in each wheel). Next, take your bearings and lay them on your newspaper. Take out your non rust cleaning oil and lightly pour it over your bearings. leave them there for about five to ten minutes.

                Then minutes later...

After five to ten minutes, dry off your bearing with your rag and rub the leftover dirt or muck off, on the rag. Then lightly wipe off the bearings with your scrub brush. Now your bearings are clean and you have to put them back in your wheels and then back on your skateboard. Take the bearings and just shove them into the wheel, this is usually not that hard at all, just push them in. Next you'll need to place your wheel and bolt back on the truck. Most of the socket wrenches can go in reverse so just turn your's to reverse, tighten the bolt to your choice of loose or tight and have fun riding.
